The Solbotix tech at Intersolar Europe 2022

May 16, 2022

Intersolar Europe, along with ees Europe, Power2Drive Europe and EM-Power, is one of the most significant European conferences for new energy solutions under the umbrella of smarter E Europe. In 2022, the series of exhibition days and respective conferences received more than 65,000 visitors from 149 countries. Back in October 2021, Solbotix debuted at the Intersolar Europe Conference, and it’s only logical that the company would come back to share its technological advancements with the solar community. Between 11-13 May 2022, Solbotix, as part of the ELVAN group and represented by its founder/CEO Konstantin Kastanis and his associates, was in Munich, ready to demonstrate the system and its reliable features. So, attendees were able to watch the robotic PV cleaning system perform in real-time at the exhibition booth. The system exhibition gave way to interesting conversations that explored the severe PV cleaning issues the industry faces and how robotics can effectively and reliably resolve them. The Solbotix solution focuses on fighting soiling in solar parks in (semi) arid environments where waterless cleaning is necessary to protect natural resources, prevent any damage to the solar panels and improve maintenance processes. On the whole, Intersolar Europe 2022, with its multinational character and a broader attendance increased by 33% compared to 2019, was a milestone event for Solbotix since it was the inaugural technical exhibition of the robotic and engineering work accomplished so far.
